Welcome! I'm an American expat who visits his family in California every 4 to 6 months. Every time I've been back, I've helped my Singapore friends purchase the latest Coach bags, because, of course, they're much cheaper over there than in SG. For example, for the price of ONE purse in Singapore, she ended up owning TWO purses when purchased from the US.
Since I always have extra room in my luggage, I thought I'd offer to help other Singaporeans out there to save money. I'm going back to the US end of November -- will return to SG on December 8. If you are interested on a purse you see on Coach.com, please let me know. I'm willing to get it for you from the US. We will split the savings 50/50. For example, if a bag in Singapore costs US$150, but it's only US$100 in the US (nett price, which includes California sales tax), then I am asking for US$25.
Deal? :)
