The Singapore Polo Club is one of the oldest sporting and social clubs in Singapore. Founded in 1886 by the officers of the 1st Battalion, King’s Own Regiment, the Club has a distinguished heritage and remains rich in its traditions of camaraderie and sportsmanship.
Today, the Singapore Polo Club remains committed to its original charter – that of providing members with the facilities to enjoy polo – and has evolved to include riding and other sporting and social amenities. It is now recognised as the premier equestrian lifestyle club in Singapore and one of the top facilities of this kind in the region.
Facilities include equestrian (covered riding arena, outdoor arenas, pro shop, stables, polo field, polo practice cage, hacking trails), social (jackpot room, internet room), food and beverage
(Polo Bar, Lord Mountbatten Room, poolside and verandah dining) and recreational (gymnasium, spa, tennis and squash courts, swimming pool, wading pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, men’s and ladies’ saunas), Additional activities include aikido, archery, fencing, Pilates, dance and yoga, plus instruction in tennis and swimming.
Charter memberships are no longer available, and only obtainable from the Open market.
